IF you string them all together
they add up to a really good time...
I had an almost perfect day on Saturday
And I felt guilty about it
That’s my burden, sometimes.
When I feel good about getting up at 5:30 AM
Going downtown to run a 3 mile loop
Grabbing a cup of strong dark roast coffee to sip as I drive to the Dam
For another 18 miles across The Big Dam Bridge, over to Pinnacle Park and back, then a short hack down the fitness park
To do some squats and steps for strength training
Before stumbling back over the dam bridge to the truck
I didn’t weigh before I went but I know I lost 5-7 lbs of water
Because my clothes were soaked through and I felt it in my waist
Plus, that’s how much I’ve lost before on a long run in 90% humidty and heat
Beat your body to hell often enough and you know the signs of what it’s doing
And how to fix it when tired
Good tired
Then it was off to a quiet space to spend a few hours working and drinking
Cold water instead of cold beer, trying to replinish what was lost
And guzzling a grape powerade for the electrolytes
Work was simple and fulfilling and even though I “need” to sell more
I wrote new instead, which was fun, especially if you like wild whacky mysteries!
Have I ever invited you to check out RED TIDE RETIRED free? (not urban fantasy, but more silly/sometimes weird Florida mystery)
I played with that for a few hours
Then read the rest of a book, and started a new one
Watched a little Tik To and berated myself a little
Because days like that are easy to come by when I keep expectation low
And give a little break to myself that not every day has to be a 1000% hard charging business day
Even if that’s what my goals and aspirations require
No, that day was for training for Dec and reminding myself that once upon a time, I did awesome and crazy Sh*t
And if I keep lining up days like that, more awesome and crazy will happen
Here’s hoping you get more days full of everything you like

Thousands of pages.
Countless hours of adventure.
If you’ve enjoyed the stories I’ve shared so far, this may be the best offer you’ll see all year.

That’s right.
Twenty complete novels for about the price of a couple of new paperbacks.
Whether you love action, suspense, mystery, westerns, thrillers, or unforgettable characters facing impossible odds, this collection delivers story after story after story.
No waiting.
No tracking down individual titles.
No wondering what to read next.
Just open your library and start reading.
Then when you finish one book, the next is already waiting.
And the next.
And the next.
Most readers tell me the same thing: once they find a series or character they enjoy, they want more.
More adventures.
More twists.
More late nights saying, “Just one more chapter.”
That’s exactly why I put this collection together.
I wanted to make it easy for readers to dive deep into the stories without spending a fortune building a library one book at a time.
At only $1 per book, this is one of the biggest discounts I offer anywhere.
And I’m making it available exclusively to readers who are already part of my community.
If you’ve been enjoying the free books, sample chapters, and special offers, this is your chance to unlock a much larger collection in one simple purchase.
Twenty books.
One click.
Instant access.
Hundreds of hours of reading.
Grab your collection now and start your next adventure today.

That sounds like a good Saturday
